Principal's Message

Dear Davis General Students and Families,

 

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the Principal of Benjamin O. Davis Middle School.  I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I feel very fortunate to have been part of this school in previous years. I am excited and eager to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.  

Along with the teachers and staff, we will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners.  We will focus on high priority standards, the use of data to drive instruction, and to provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so that we can continue to increase your child's achievement. 

All of us at Davis Middle School are eager and excited to begin what promises to be a fantastic school year!  This upcoming year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relelvant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections.  As the principal, it is important to me that eveeryone who steps through our doors is excited to be here and is successful!  This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
